CELULAR RESET

Phase ONE: DETOX
Reduce oxidative burden + replenish antioxidant pathways

Glutathione is often referred to as one of the body’s Master antioxidants. It exists in both reduced and oxidized forms, allowing it to help neutralize free radicals and oxidative stress generated during normal metabolism, environmental exposure, inflammation, and physical stress. After binding to oxidative compounds and metabolic waste products, glutathione helps support the body’s natural elimination pathways through the liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal system.

This process relies on multiple nutritional cofactors, including amino acids, B vitamins, magnesium, and vitamin C, which work together to support normal glutathione production and recycling within the body. Glutathione naturally shifts between reduced and oxidized forms as part of its antioxidant activity. A simple way to remember this is that reduced starts with “R,” which can remind you that glutathione is ready to help neutralize free radicals and oxidative compounds. Once it has interacted with these compounds, it becomes oxidized. You can remember oxidized by the “O,” which can stand for occupied by a free radical or oxidative compound. In this oxidized state, glutathione must be recycled back into its active reduced form in order to continue supporting the body’s antioxidant pathways.

As oxidative stress and depletion are gradually addressed, many individuals choose to transition into Cellular Rewindthe next phase of the protocol designed to support mitochondrial function, cellular energy production, metabolic recovery, and long-term wellness support through NAD+ therapy and supportive nutrient replenishment.

Together, Cellular Reset and Cellular Rewind were designed to work in conjunction as part of a more comprehensive recovery and wellness-focused approach supporting both antioxidant balance and long-term cellular performance.

The human body is made up of cells, which form tissues, tissues form organs, and organs form organ systems that work together to make up Our bodies body. Cells naturally go through continuous cycles of metabolism (breakdown) and repair (rebuilding) as part of normal cellular function. During these cycles, waste products are created. These unstable molecules are known as Free radicals.

The body utilizes antioxidants and cellular repair systems to help maintain oxidative stress balance and neutralize excess free radicals. However, during periods of prolonged stress, inflammation, poor recovery, illness, environmental exposure, smoking, vaping, alcohol intake, inadequate sleep, aging, or chronic metabolic demand, free radicals may begin to accumulate faster than the body can effectively manage them. This imbalance is referred to as oxidative stress. Over time, oxidative stress may contribute to cellular strain, inflammation, slower recovery, and increased metabolic demand on the body. One of the most common signals associated with this process is fatigue, as the body’s energy production systems may become increasingly strained over time.

The Cellular Reset was designed as the foundational phase of Vytal Recovery’s cellular wellness protocol, focusing on antioxidant support, oxidative stress balance, hydration recovery, and support of the body’s natural detoxification pathways through high-dose glutathione therapy and supportive nutrient replenishment.
